Ivan Lys-Dobradin, Esq.

From Lakeland to Winter Park, from New Smyrna to St. Petersburg, Ivan Lys-Dobradin has lived and connected with the people, communities, and businesses surrounding I-4. His love for Central Florida and its residents is the main reason he passionately fights insurance companies on property damage claims every day.

In 2022, after four years of working with one of the largest property damage litigation firms in Florida, Ivan decided to open up The Gulf Stream Law Firm PLLC. The Gulf Stream Law Firm is a virtual law firm focused on resolving claims quickly. Our practice limits the volume of cases so that we can focus on each individual client and provide the best service possible. By regulating the number of cases we handle we are able to pursue the insurance company aggressively throughout the claims process and litigation.

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in 2014, Ivan decided to return to Florida to obtain his JD/MBA at Stetson University, the top trial advocacy school in the United States. There he realized the power of storytelling as an effective advocacy tool. While at Stetson, Ivan also competed on the Alternative Dispute Resolution team and received the Book Award in his negotiation class.

Ivan is actively involved in the community. He is the current president of the Winter Park History Museum, former president of Winter Park Toastmasters, and serves as an assistant coach at the Orlando Rowing Club.
