Ivan Lys-Dobradin, Esq.

Ivan Lys-Dobradin is a Central Florida Attorney. From Lakeland to Winter Park, from New Smyrna to St. Petersburg, Ivan has lived and connected with the people, communities, and businesses surrounding I-4. His love for Central Florida and its residents is the main reason he passionately fights insurance companies on property damage claims every day.

In 2022, after four years of working with one of the largest property damage litigation firms in Florida, Ivan Lys-Dobradin decided to open up The Gulf Stream Law Firm PLLC. The Gulf Stream Law Firm is a virtual law firm focused on resolving claims quickly. Our practice limits the volume of cases so that we can focus on each individual client and provide the best service possible, updating our clients regularly through our safe and secure online client portal. By regulating the number of cases we handle we are able to pursue the insurance company aggressively throughout the claims process and litigation.

In high school, Ivan Lys-Dobradin was an International Baccalaureate student at Winter Park High School and a rower on the men’s crew team. He won state and national regattas and even represented the United States in the Men’s Junior Eight at the 2008 World Rowing Championship in Linz-Ottensheim, Austria.

Afterward, Ivan graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, an ivy league institution. He then decided to return to Florida to obtain his JD/MBA at Stetson University, the top trial advocacy school in the United States. There he realized the power of storytelling as an effective advocacy tool. While at Stetson, Ivan also competed on the Alternative Dispute Resolution team and received the Book Award in his negotiation class. He is currently an active member of Winter Park Toastmasters, one of the most prestigious public speaking clubs in Florida. He is also on the board of directors for the Winter Park History Museum.
